Kennel cough is a highly infectious respiratory disease caused by the virus known as parainfluenza and a bacteria called bordetella. The vaccine will reduce the chance of your dog catching “kennel cough”. It is a single dose, given at least 7 days prior to exposure. Protection will last for 6-12 months. If your dog has frequent exposure, we suggest having the vaccine boostered every 6 months.
